Your transactions with us, our affiliates or others (for example your premium payment and claims history);

The information from a consumer or independent reporting agency (for example your motor vehicle report, property inspection report, accident report or claim report);

 

HOW WE DISCLOSE YOUR INFORMATION

We do not disclose any Personal Information about our customers or former customers, except as permitted by law. In general, we may disclose your Personal Information to third parties to service or process your insurance policy, your claim, or to administer related transactions. These third parties may include:

Your agent, broker, or producer;

Our affiliated companies;

Independent claim adjusters, investigators, data processors or attorneys;

Persons or organizations that conduct scientific research, including actuarial or underwriting studies;

An insurance support organization or another insurer, to prevent or prosecute fraud or to properly underwrite the risk;

Another insurer, if you are involved in an accident with their insured;

State insurance departments or other governmental or law enforcement authorities, if required by law, to protect our legal interests or in cases of suspected fraud or illegal activities;

A court of law.

We will also disclose your Personal Information if ordered by subpoena, search warrant or other court order.

Your Personal Information that we collect is kept in your policy and/or claim files. We will refer to and use that Personal Information for purposes related to issuing and servicing insurance policies and settling claims.

 

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

We restrict access to Personal Information about you to those employees who need to know that information in order to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal and state regulations to guard your personal information.
