When You Need To File A Claim...
You'll be glad you completed an inventory of your belongings when it comes time to file a claim. After a theft or a disaster, you do not want to be searching for documents to verify the value of your items. A detailed inventory record will help you get reimbursed for your loss and will help us expedite your claims.
After complete documents have been submitted, our Claims Adjuster will visit your residence to survey the damage and verify your claims. Please separate the damaged and undamaged property for the Claims Adjuster and we will do our best to process your claim quickly.
1. Immediately inform your agent of your loss in writing.
2. Make a detailed inventory list of the destroyed and damaged items.
3. Protect your undamaged property from further damage by storing it in a safe place and away from damaged goods.

laim settlement of your property is based on available supporting documents and actual cash value, purchase price less the depreciation of the item.

Your Claims Adjuster Will Need the Following Information:
- A Detailed Inventory of Lost, Stolen or Damaged Property
- Description of each item
- Actual cash value
- Location of purchase
- Estimate of total loss in dollars
- Receipts, bills and related documents that can verify its value
